The upstairs, which can also be accessed from the back of the building, is fitted with two bedrooms and a large bathroom.The ground level has a living room, dining area and a kitchen that all connect to the lovely front terrace, which runs the length of the building. One bedroom opens to a small terrace and the enclosed lawn can be used for sunbathing in complete privacy. The beautiful garden includes endless bougainvillea and a huge eucalyptus tree, providing for wonderful scents and play of light. The big pool and two tennis courts are just a few steps away, as is a squash hall for those who like to play. The pool and courts are shared with the other houses. It is a real pleasure to sit on the sun-drenched terrace, ideal for “al fresco” dining, with an awning that provides for shade. Casa PiaLocated at the lower end of the finca, with a stunning view of the coast as well as the village of Mijas, the two-level house includes three units with a total of five bedrooms. Each unit has its own entrance. The large pool and two tennis courts are just a few steps up. Sun chairs are available, and the covered poolside terrace can be used for coffee or drinks when taking a break from the sun or from playing a game of tennis. Pia, the lower level property includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms that all flow out into a spacious, light and airy dining and lounge area. Casa Luisa This romantic cottage is comfortable and airy with its open plan design. Located about 50 meters from the main villa and near the upper pool and tennis court, it offers complete privacy and is perfect for a couple or a family of three. Ceiling to floor windows provide for plenty of light all around. Elevated one step to the rear there is a large comfortable double bed, the spacious round bathtub with shower is close by. The toilet is the sole space separated by a door. The generous living area including a big couch and Flat screen TV also has room for an extra bed if needed. The kitchen counter is equipped with stovetop, refrigerator, coffee machine and toaster to prepare breakfast or a cooked meal. The terrace and lawn are surrounded by bushes, a terraced garden of succulents has been landscaped by an enthusiastic garden architect who stayed as a guest. Here you can disconnect and drink in the peacefulness of the area and relax completely. Organic agriculture has been central to the workings of the ranch since the beginning and provides for delicious fruits and vegetables. There is an abundance of orange, tangerine and lemon trees, as well as avocado, fig, almond, pomegranate and of course beautiful gnarly old olive trees. Happy corn-fed chicken produces very tasty, organic eggs. Depending on the season, our guests will have a basket of delicious home grown produce waiting for them. ABOUT THE AREA The village of Mijas was established in the 16th century, it is famous for its white washed houses and lovely cobblestone streets, for beautiful handicrafts and the community of local artists. The church and historic bull ring is worth a visit.Malaga is a 20-minute drive away, as is Marbella in the other direction. Malaga offers several excellent museums and a cathedral and market hall that should not be missed. Marbella has an impressive yacht harbour, as well as a charming old town with outstanding restaurants and shops. A number of high-class golf courses are located in the area, and day trips to the historic towns of Granada and Ronda or even Sevilla and Cordoba are always an option. For children there are the added attractions of a progressive and fun zoo and a water park nearby.
